Relax on the beach
At Binalong bay you are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches, there is the pristine main beach which the house over looks. Along the Gardens road there is Jeannerat Beach, Cosy Corner and Swimcart

Explore on foot
Binalong Bay can be easily explored on foot by a coastal track. The walk will take you along the lagoon towards the Gardens and past the Gulch towards Humbug point.

Mountain Biking
St Helens is approximately 10 mins from Binalong. As you leave the town you will head towards the St Helens trails, arguably some of the most scenic trails you can ride.

St Columba Falls
St. Columba Falls is one of Tasmania's tallest waterfalls, with a waterfall drop of over 90 metre’s. Situated approximately 30km's west of St. Helens, with easy access from the A3 Highway, with a turn off to Pyengana, St. Columba Falls is one of Tasmania's favourite waterfalls to visit
It is part of the St Columba Falls State Reserve, featuring a picnic and toilet facilities, with somewhat limited parking along the road. The track from the carpark to the falls is well maintained, but is a steady climb back from the base of the falls to the carpark.

Eddystone Point Lighthouse
This striking pink granite tower is on a point that juts out into the sea. Being surrounded on all sides by sea, it is subject to its ferocity and whims.

St Helens
St Helens is the gateway to the Bay of Fires and Binalong Bay. Closer to town, you can take the one-hour return walk to spectacular Peron Dunes and the vast ocean beach. Browse the town’s shops, cafes and galleries and visit the History Room at the St Helens History and Visitor Information Centre to discover the Trail of the Tin Dragon—a series of experiences from St Helens to Launceston that tells the story of Chinese tin miners who lived and worked in north east Tasmania.
